I am using a Haicom HI-204III GPS receiver with SOB and I don't remember having any problems with loading the software Free Voice Changer Software For Pc. . The com port on the PC needs to be set to 4800 baud, 8 bits, 1 stop bit and no parity. You do need to have the receiver 'outside' to get any signals, though. However, it works fine on the boat on top of a locker (in the cabin) with only the GRP above it; in the house I couldn't get it to work through a window. I do remember having to boot up the PC first without the Haicom or else the PC thinks it is a mouse and does strange things; then plug in the Haicom and set up the com port as above. If you want me to check anything specific then let me know and I will try and help. The PC is at home but the Haicom is on the boat..
